Christmas may be a little different this year, but you can count on The Craiglands Hotel & Spa to make it a time to remember! What will the cancellation policy be?
A £10 deposit per person will be paid at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment is required no later than 01 Nov 2020. In the event of cancellation by the hotel a full refund will be issued. In the event that the client wishes to cancel their booking, all deposits will be retained and remainder of pre-payment refunded.

If I book now and the Government later says that we cannot hold our event will I get a refund?
Yes, the Force Majeure clause in the terms and conditions will mean a full refund will be issued.

What happens to my booking if someone in my family get COVID?

Office Xmas party – we all work together, do we have to be on tables of 6?
Based on current Covid Safe guidance, guests can be seated on a maximum of 6 people per table. However social distancing must be maintained between tables and individuals from different tables cannot mix.

Guests seated on the same table do not need to socially distance by law, however we recommend to ensure your own safety that you take mitigating action and maintain social distancing and good hand hygiene at all times.

My family has 7 or more members in it, with the new rules on the social gatherings, can we still come?
Yes. Single households of more than 6 people (including those in a support bubble) are able to book a table together.

What events are taking place at The Craiglands Hotel & Spa this Christmas?
Please click on this link to view our Christmas brochure for information about our party nights and festive entertainment. This year, smaller groups can enjoy a celebration at The Craiglands Hotel & Spa, with festive menus throughout December as well as special menus on the big feative dates (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day). Work groups are also welcome to book office lunches and team celebrations (in tables of 6 people).

Can we bring presents with us?
Based on current Covid Safe guidelines, we would encourage guests not to bring additional items into the hotel, however things can change in time of Christmas so will confirm in our pre-arrival communications nearer the time whether guests can bring gifts.

Can we pre order drinks this year?
Yes, we will be sending out pre arrival information for all bookers in November, this will include drinks packages available to order in advance. Please ensure you include a valid email address with your booking in order to receive these communications.

Will the bar be open or just table service ?
Our bars will be open, however we will be following government guidelines.

Christmas day – Will the table be dressed i.e Crackers, centre pieces etc?
We certainly hope so! We will set tables in accordance with Government guidance in December. Based on current guidelines we have reduced many of the items available on a table but we hope advice will change in time for Christmas in December.

Will you be limiting the time we can stay for lunch?
Guests attending our Boxing Day and New Year’s Day lunches wil be allocated a 2 hour window to dine. On Christmas Day and New Year’s eve guests are welcome to relax and enjoy their festive feast for as long as they wish (within event operating hours).

Will we need to wear face masks at any time?
Based on current Covid Safe guidance, guests are required to wear a face mask in all public spaces (including lobby, event reception area, toilets). Should Government guidance changes regarding this, these rules will be relaxed.

Is there a separate menu for children or child friendly choices?
Yes – a children’s menu is available.

What age can I buy a child ticket?
Children 3 years and under eat free. Child tickets can be purchased for children 12 years and under

Why are tables capped at 6 people?
Our table capacities are in line with current Covid Secure guidance
